GPAT 2016 Important Dates – All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) specifies the important dates of GPAT 2016 and other upcoming events in its notification for the candidates who seek to appear in national level Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) for admissions to PG programmes in Pharmacy.
LATEST - Candidates can fill GPAT Application Form 2019 here!LATEST - Candidates can check GPAT Result from February 14 onwards. GPAT was conducted on January 21, 2018.As per GPAT 2016 Important Dates, GPAT will be conducted January 17, 2016 for the Pharmacy graduates who wish to get admission in Post Graduate programme in Pharmacy. Candidates must go through the GPAT 2016 Schedule provided on this page to not miss out any crucial event related to the admission procedure.
GPAT 2016 Registration must be done by the candidates in online mode from November 3, 2015. The last date of filling up of GPAT 2016 Application Form is December 10, 2016. The entrance exam will be conducted in computer based test format.

GPAT is a national level entrance exam which is held for Pharmacy graduates so that they can get admission to M.Pharmacy program. It is conducted once in a year.
AICTE Conducts this exam that is AICTE is the conducting body of GPAT exam.
It is a three hour duration computer based test.
To apply for this exam one has to fulfill few eligibility criteria which are as follows-
A student must have Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates).
Students who are in the final year of B.Pharmacy are also eligible to appear in GPAT.
Note- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
yes you can apply for gpat exam which is the gate way of m.pharma course in top institute in india. however during the m.pharma admission process you need to show your clear mark sheets and if that time you have any current back logs you cannot take admission. if you clear the back log before admission process , then it will be fine.

GPAT aspirants should focus on the five main papers namely Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharm Analysis and Pharmaceutical chemistry with special emphasis on organic chemistry. Few questions are being asked from Jurisprudence, Microbiology and Biochemistry.
