GPAT Eligibility Criteria 2020 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) sets the eligibility criteria of GPAT 2020. Candidates planning to appear for Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test (GPAT), the national level entrance examination for admission to various PG courses in pharmacy, should first understand the GPAT Eligibility Criteria 2020. It may be noted that till 2018, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was the conducting body for GPAT. But since 2019, NTA is the authority that conducts GPAT for admission to postgraduate courses in pharmacy. Thus, GPAT eligibility criteria 2020 is declared by NTA for this pharmacy entrance examination.

A candidate becomes eligible to apply and appear for the entrance examination in order to seek admission to various courses of M. Pharm, only when they comply with eligibility criteria of GPAT 2020. So one should know the GPAT 2020 eligibility criteria as provided below:

Candidates with a degree in B.Tech (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology) are not to be considered eligible.
NTA has not made any official notification for GPAT 2020 till date and the same is expected to be announced anytime soon. The tentative dates for GPAT 2020 are provided below based upon the previous sessions. The GPAT eligibility criteria 2020 has to comply with important dates duly by the candidate so that important events are not missed out by aspiring candidates.

National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting body of GPAT is expected to start GPAT Registration 2020 in the first week of November 2019 in online mode. Candidates will have to fill the GPAT application form 2020 and upload requisite documents on the official website of NTA within the specified period. Candidates should assure that they comply with the GPAT 2020 eligibility criteria while registering for the exam.
Applicants will have to make the payment of the GPAT 2020 application fee by choosing any of the following two modes-
Online mode with payment using credit card/debit card/net banking
Offline mode by paying Cash at any of the designated SBI bank branches

Candidates who are graduates in Pharmacy (4 years of B. Pharm) are eligible for GPAT 2020. Those who are in the last year of B. Pharm are also eligible for the exam.
Candidates who fall under the category of disabled as per the 'Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016' are regarded as disabled. The categories of disabilities are:
(i) Blindness and low vision
(ii) Deaf and hard of hearing
(iii) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid
attack victims and muscular dystrophy
(iv) Autism, intellectual disability, specified learning disability and mental illness,
(v) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (i) to (iv)
(vi) Other ‘specified disabilities’ mentioned in the Schedule of the RPwD Act

GPAT is a national level entrance exam which is held for Pharmacy graduates so that they can get admission to M.Pharmacy program. It is conducted once in a year.
AICTE Conducts this exam that is AICTE is the conducting body of GPAT exam.
It is a three hour duration computer based test.
To apply for this exam one has to fulfill few eligibility criteria which are as follows-
A student must have Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates).
Students who are in the final year of B.Pharmacy are also eligible to appear in GPAT.

yes you can apply for gpat exam which is the gate way of m.pharma course in top institute in india. however during the m.pharma admission process you need to show your clear mark sheets and if that time you have any current back logs you cannot take admission. if you clear the back log before admission process , then it will be fine.
