GPAT Eligibility Criteria 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the GPAT 2023 eligibility criteria along with the official brochure at gpat.nta.nic.in. Candidates wishing to appear for GPAT 2023 must go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

As per the GPAT eligibility criteria 2023, students who have pursued a four-year bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy are eligible to apply for the examination. The complete eligibility criteria of GPAT 2023 mentions the requirements regarding the nationality, academic qualification, and other details. It must be noted that there is no age limit to apply for GPAT 2023.

Candidates who will not fulfill GPAT 2023 eligibility criteria will not be eligible to apply for the postgraduate pharmacy entrance exam. GPAT 2023: Eligibility criteria

Before applying for the entrance examination of pharmacy, applicants must go through the detailed GPAT 2023 eligibility criteria. NTA will not accept the GPAT application forms of ineligible students.

• Nationality: To appear for the GPAT 2023 examination, candidates must be a citizen of India.

• Age: As per the GPAT eligibility criteria 2023, there is no age restriction for appearing in the exam.

• Academic qualification: Candidates willing to take GPAT 2023 must have a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognised university. However, candidates who are in the final year of their degree, are also eligible. It must be noted, students with a B.Tech degree in Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology domains are not eligible to fill the GPAT registration form.

• Candidates with disabilities are also eligible to apply for GPAT. The authority has listed the disabilities accepted for GPAT admission which are listed below.

1. Candidates with low vision and blindness

2. Applicants with difficulty in hearing or deaf

3. Medical aspirants with locomotor disabilities such as cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy are eligible

4. Candidates with autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and mental illness are eligible for GPAT 2023

5. Candidates having blood disorder such as haemophilia, thalassaemia, or sickle cell disease can apply for GPAT 2023

6. Candidates with multiple disabilities

7. Candidates with disabilities caused due to chronic neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis and parkinsonism are also eligible.

Candidates fulfilling the GPAT 2023 eligibility criteria will be able to register for the postgraduate pharmacy entrance test. Step 1: Registration

Eligible candidates will have to register themselves at the official website of NTA. For GPAT registration, applicants will have to enter their personal details, address, email ID, mobile number, and identification number. Once all the details are filled, candidates will have to create a new password, and select and answer a security question.

Step 2: Filling GPAT 2023 application form

After the registration process, candidates will have to submit the remaining details in the GPAT 2023 application form such as nationality of the candidate, category, name of exam applying for, and academic qualification. Students will also be asked to submit their preferences for the GPAT exam centre 2023.

Step 3: Uploading of scanned documents

In the next step, candidates will have to upload a scanned image of photograph and signature in the GPAT 2023 application form. The documents need to be uploaded in the specified format by NTA.

Step 4: Payment of GPAT 2023 application fee

Once all the details are entered and documents uploaded, candidates will have to pay the application fee of GPAT 2023. The fee can be paid in an online mode using net banking/credit or debit card/UPI/ Wallet.
