GPAT Important Dates 2020- The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the important dates of Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test- GPAT 2020 on August 21 for admission to various courses of Master in Pharmacy (M. Pharm). An official notification by NTA for GPAT 2020 announced for the exam to be conducted on January 24, 2020. Applications for GPAT 2020 will be released on November 1 with the last date of November 30, 2019. Candidates will be able to download GPAT 2020 admit card from December 24. The GPAT result will be declared on February 3 after interim answer key is released and challenges are made by candidates. After that, a merit list will be released by NTA that contains important information related to the exam and meritorious candidates of GPAT 2020. Prospective aspirants of GPAT seeking admissions to the postgraduate programme of Pharmacy across top most AICTE approved institutions, colleges or universities can check GPAT important dates 2020 hereunder and know about applications and examination, etc.

Important Dates of GPAT 2020
Release of GPAT 2020 notification- NTA has released the official notification for GPAT 2020 on August 21, 2019. The notification provides for GPAT 2020 dates including applications, exam date, admit card and result.
Availability of GPAT 2020 registration - Online GPAT registration 2020 shall commence on November 1, 2019. The last date to fill the same is November 30, 2019 respectively.
Uploading of scanned documents and fee payment: Candidates will be able to upload the soft copies of their photograph and signature, and pay the application fee of GPAT 2020 in contrast with the last date to fill the application form. Specific period might be announced for the same by NTA.
Downloading GPAT admit card 2020- The admit card of GPAT 2020 will be available for download by the candidates from December 24 onwards. The GPAT admit card shall be available in online mode through login.
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2020- GPAT 2020 exam will be conducted on January 24, 2020. The entrance examination will be a 'Computer-based test'.
Availability of GPAT Answer Key 2020- NTA is expected to release the official answer key, question paper and response sheet of GPAT 2020 shortly after GPAT 2020 is conducted. The last date to challenge the same will also be notified by NTA.
GPAT Result, merit list and final answer key 2020- NTA will be declaring the GPAT 2020 result on February 3. Candidates will require their login credentials to get access of the same and download their scorecard. Along with that, the GPAT merit list and final answer key will also be made available on the NTA website.

Till 2018, GPAT was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). But from 2019 onwards, NTA started to conduct the GPAT. It was approved by the Union Cabinet in November 2017 as an autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization.
Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test is a postgraduate national level online entrance exam, and approximately 30,000 candidates appear every year for it. They compete for nearly 24,000 seats that are offered across 841 participating institutes.
In 2019, a total of 40649 candidates had appeared in GPAT exam, out of which, 4119 candidates could qualify the exam.
However this totally depends upon individual ability, students should dedicate at least 3 months of concentration preparing for GPAT exam.

GPAT is a national level entrance exam which is held for Pharmacy graduates so that they can get admission to M.Pharmacy program. It is conducted once in a year.
AICTE Conducts this exam that is AICTE is the conducting body of GPAT exam.
It is a three hour duration computer based test.
To apply for this exam one has to fulfill few eligibility criteria which are as follows-
A student must have Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates).
Students who are in the final year of B.Pharmacy are also eligible to appear in GPAT.
Note- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
yes you can apply for gpat exam which is the gate way of m.pharma course in top institute in india. however during the m.pharma admission process you need to show your clear mark sheets and if that time you have any current back logs you cannot take admission. if you clear the back log before admission process , then it will be fine.
