Following is the WBJEE Pharmacy 2014 Exam Pattern:

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be based on the syllabus from Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Each question will have one correct response that needs to be marked on the OMR.

Category 1

Every correct answer will give one mark, whereas every incorrect response will result in deduction of 33% of full mark (1/3). If the candidate marks more than one answer in the OMR sheet, then the answer will be treated as wrong and marks will be deducted as mentioned above.

 

Category 2

Each correct answer carries two marks. For any incorrect response, 33% of full mark (2/3) will be deducted. Marking of more than one answer in the OMR sheet will be considered incorrect and will result in negative marking accordingly.

 

Category 3

In this category, there may be more than one correct answer. Two marks will be given for every correct response. A combination of correct and incorrect answers will be treated as incorrect and will give zero mark. For a partially correct response that does not have any incorrect marking, marks will be given by calculating 2 x (No. of Correct Responses)/ (Total No. of correct options).
