All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducted Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2018, a national level entrance exam, on January 21. The entrance test was held as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India across 58 cities of India. The three-hour computer based online test (GPAT 2018) was conducted in a single session.

Questions in GPAT 2018 were asked from Physical Chemistry, Physical Pharmacy, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, etc. The online exam was of total 500 marks, and as many as 125 multiple choice questions (MCQs) were asked. Each correct response will be rewarded 4 marks, whereas 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
AICTE will not publish answer keys of GPAT 2018 as this was an online exam. Also, no coaching institute will release them. Careers360 will bring you the GPAT answer keys 2018 in case these are issued by the exam conducting body.
AICTE, the exam conducting body, will declare GPAT 2018 result cum merit list on February 18. The score card will also be available from the same day. The GPAT score card 2018 will be valid for only one year to obtain scholarship in Masters in Pharmacy programme. In case, if a candidate is interested in pursuing PhD programme in Pharmacy, the score card will be valid for three years for availing National Doctoral Scholarship.
Eligible qualified candidates will be given admissions to the Master’s (M.Pharm) programme across all AICTE-approved institutions/university departments/constituent colleges/affiliated colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy will also be given on the basis of the GPAT 2018 score.

GPAT is a national level entrance exam which is held for Pharmacy graduates so that they can get admission to M.Pharmacy program. It is conducted once in a year.
AICTE Conducts this exam that is AICTE is the conducting body of GPAT exam.
It is a three hour duration computer based test.
To apply for this exam one has to fulfill few eligibility criteria which are as follows-
A student must have Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates).
Students who are in the final year of B.Pharmacy are also eligible to appear in GPAT.
Note- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
yes you can apply for gpat exam which is the gate way of m.pharma course in top institute in india. however during the m.pharma admission process you need to show your clear mark sheets and if that time you have any current back logs you cannot take admission. if you clear the back log before admission process , then it will be fine.
