All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has made available Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2018 application form in online mode from October 18, 2017 onwards, two days prior to the earlier declared date which was October 20. GPAT 2018 will be conducted on January 20 across a total of 58 cities in India for postgraduate pharmacy admissions. Candidates will be able to fill GPAT 2018 application form till December 18, 2017 (10 AM).

Applicants must be Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates). Those, who are in the final year of B.Pharmacy course, are also eligible for appearing in GPAT. Aspirants seeking admissions in Masters of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) programme can apply to appear for the entrance exam after checking the detailed eligibility criteria of GPAT.
GPAT 2018 will be a three hour computer based online test which will be conducted in single session. The score of GPAT 2018 will be accepted by all AICTE approved institutions/university departments/constituent colleges/affiliated colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of pharmacy will also be given on the basis of the GPAT 2018 score. It is expected that nearly 30,000 test-takers will appear for the postgraduate pharmacy entrance exam.

now gpat is total marks of 500 , and the number of questions is 125, so if you get 300+ out of 500, you have decent chances for tier 1 colleges.

If you have filled your category as general EWS while filling the application form you need to provide valid EWS category certificate at the time of counselling.And GPAT score is necessary to get admission through NIPER.So your category should match in both the application form.Because qualifying marks for each category will be different.When you qualified GPAT under EWS cut off that score is considered during NIPER counselling.Whether or not you have qualified under general category cut off you need to provide EWS certificate as per the details you have filled in online application form.
Below mentioned are some of the the tips for GPAT and NIPER:
1. Focus on your basics first and be thorough with them to make the further concepts clear.
2. Make sure that you are doing practical questions each and every day. Learn the formula by heart and make sure that you practice them everyday.
3. Also, focus on the topics that come frequently in the previous years exams.
4. Make notes and sticky notes together which will help you in the last days.
5. Take a look at the syllabus and prepare your time table.
6. Always keep the deadlines and time management in mind which will help you to achieve your target on time.
The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) conducts NIPER JEE exam every year, based on niper jee score, the admission in various post graduate course related with pharmacy is done.

for general candidate need to have 6.5 cgpa in graduation, for reserved category candidates it is 5.5.
since you did not qualify gpat , you are not eligible.
