BEST REGARDS
With an AIR of 714 in NIPER JEE 2025 for M.Tech and belonging to the OBC-NCL category, your chances of getting a seat in any NIPER are moderate, but it may not be in the most competitive specializations or top campuses.
NIPERs like Mohali, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad are usually more competitive, especially for branches like Pharmaceutical Technology, Regulatory Affairs, or Medicinal Chemistry. With your rank, getting these top campuses or core branches might be difficult.
However, you still have a fair chance in newer or less competitive NIPERs like Raebareli, Hajipur, Guwahati, or Kolkata, especially in interdisciplinary or emerging fields. OBC-NCL category also gives you an advantage during counselling, so keep an eye on the round-wise cutoff trends, and make sure you apply to all branches and campuses you're open to.
Hello,
Yes, a B.Pharm student who is in the final year and yet to appear for the final semester exams can apply for NIPER JEE . But the student must make sure that the final result is available at the time of admission .
So yes, you can apply, but you will need to submit the proof of passing B.Pharm before admission.
Hope it helps !
Hy,
Yes, you can pursue a career in pharmacy after completing a B.Sc. in Chemistry. Your strong background in chemistry provides a good foundation for pharmacy studies. To become a pharmacist, you will need to enroll in a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program, which typically takes four years and covers essential topics such as drug formulation and patient care.
You may need to pass entrance exams to gain admission to these programs, so check the specific requirements of the universities you are interested in. After earning your B.Pharm degree, you'll need to obtain a license to practice pharmacy, which usually involves passing a licensing exam.
If you want to advance further, you can pursue a Master’s in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) or specialize in areas such as clinical pharmacy or pharmaceutical research. Additionally, gaining practical experience through internships or job shadowing can be valuable.
Overall, your B.Sc. in Chemistry positions you well for entering the field of pharmacy, but completing the required pharmacy education and obtaining a license are essential steps in your career path.
