About NIPER JEE 2020
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ahemdabad conducts NIPER Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and Ph.D programmes. The conducting authority has released the results for NIPER JEE 2020 on September 30 at the official website, niperahm.ac.in. As per the revised NIPER JEE schedule 2020, the exam has been conducted on September 28, in computer based mode. Aspirants who have successfully qualified the entrance exam are now will called for NIPER JEE counselling 2020 procedure which includes merit position, group discussion, and interview. Earlier, only the successfully registered aspirants were able to download NIPER JEE 2020 admit card on September 14, at niperahm.ac.in. The brochure has been released for Masters and PhD courses, with increase in exam centres and seats. NIPER JEE application form 2020 was released on April 1, and can be filled till the last date, in online mode.
NIPMER JEE is an English medium exam, which is conducted for two hours with total of 200 multiple choice questions which are subject to negative marking. A correct response adds 1 mark and an incorrect one deducts 0.25 mark. The participating Institutes include NIPER S.A.S Nagar(Mohali), NIPER Raebareli, NIPER Kolkata, NIPER Ahmedabad offering around 820 seats. Candidates can choose out of various exam centres across India and once opted, there is no scope for changing the same.

- Increase in number of seats - As per the brochure, NIPER JEE 2020 has been released for admission to 820 Masters and PhD seats for offered in seven NIPER institutes located in Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Hajipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Raebareli and SAS Nagar. Last year, NIPER JEE was held for admission to 583 seats.
- Hike in exam centres - For this year, NIPER JEE 2020 will be conducted in 29 cities of India. While, previous year, the exam was held in 25 cities of the country.

NIPER JEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
NIPER JEE eligibility criteria lays down the minimum educational qualification which the candidate must meet to be eligible to appear in the entrance exam for the master's programmes which are offered at different institutes. According to the NIPER JEE eligibility criteria, candidates must score the minimum marks in the qualifying exam so that they can take the entrance test.
Eligibility Criteria of NIPER JEE
The following percentage of marks need to be scored or CGPA should be scored by the candidates:
Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam
- CGPA of 6.75 on a scale of 10
Basis for Calculation of percentage of marks and CGPA
According to the NIPER JEE eligibility criteria, the basis for the calculation of marks in the qualifying exam are:
• Minimum percentage of marks is determined on the basis of rules and regulations that have been fixed by the university or the institution concerned
• CGPA is also based on the norms that have been laid down by the university or the institution concerned
• If the university or the institution has not laid down any rule for determining the CGPA, then in that case, CGPA scored by the candidate for all the years of the qualifying degree is taken into account.
GPAT, NET, GATE Score Card
The score card of GATE, NET and GPAT is an essential document which the candidates must bring with them at the time of interview and group discussion. GPAT, GATE and NET qualification is a compulsory qualification for all the programmes except for the candidates who belong to following category.

NIPER JEE result has been declared by authorities on September 30. The result of NIPER JEE is announced in online mode. NIPER JEE result is released in the form of merit list. It is based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. All the candidates who qualify in NIPER JEE, have to participate in the counselling wherein they are awarded the institute based on the NIPER JEE result. Mode of Counselling: Offline
Candidates who seek admission in M.S (Pharm), M.Pharm and M.Tech (Pharm) programmes, and cleare the entrance exam have to participate in person at NIPER JEE counselling. At the time of NIPER counselling, candidates have to get with them the requisite fee as well as the documents that are listed below.
All the candidates seeking admission in M.B.A. (Pharm.) programme in NIPER, Hyderabad and S.A.S Nagar have to participate in the group discussion and interview. They must also carry with them all the necessary documents with them at the time of group discussion and interview. Such candidates have to pay the requisite fee if their name figures in the final merit list. The final merit list of such candidates is determined on the basis of the combined merit that they get in the entrance examination, group discussion and interview.

And to appear for NIPERJEE you need to qualify GPAT exam.Upon clearing NIPERJEE , you will have a group discussion round too to clear .MBA (Pharmaceutical Management) ,MTech (Pharmaceutical Management) ,MS (Pharm) and PhD are the courses offered in the institute.To appear for NIPER JEE PhD a valid score in GATE or NET are also accepted instead of GPAT. Yes, pharm students can attend niper exam. But,u should have 60% aggregate in qualifying exam ,then u are eligible to apply for entrance exam. For sc,st it's 55% and for physically handicapped it's 55%.Hope this information helps you.

is niper only for group A students?
NIPER JEE each year conducted by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ahemdabad to give admission to M.Pharm and Ph.D programmes.
Sorry to say you but didn't get the meaning of group a students. However you should have minimum eligibility criteria to give this examination. The eligibility criteria are that
- You should have minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination. Otherwise you should have 6.75 CGPA out of 10.
- You should have pass B pharm or msc in some subjects.
