GPAT Exam Pattern 2020 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the exam pattern for GPAT- Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test. The GPAT 2020 exam pattern provides the examination details which helps candidates understand the exam better and strategize their preparation accordingly. GPAT 2020 is a computer-based examination to be conducted on January 28, 2020 in online mode. GPAT exam pattern 2020 will have 125 multiple choice questions carrying a total of 500 marks and a duration of 3 hours. There will be questions based on multiple subjects that include physical chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacology, biotechnology, etc. complying with the GPAT exam pattern 2020. GPAT 2020 has a provision of negative marking as well which requires the candidates to attempt question paper vigilantly. The article below provides more information on exam pattern for GPAT 2020.

Candidates may note that till 2018, GPAT was conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). From 2019 onwards, National Testing Agency (NTA) took over the charge of conducting GPAT 2020, the entrance examination dedicated for admissions to various courses of M. Pharm. In 2019, the exam was conducted on January 28, 2019 in which, 4119 candidates qualified out of 42827 registered candidates.
Latest: NTA has released GPAT 2020 Admit Card on December 24; Exam to be conducted on January 28, 2020.

  • Marks per question – Each question will carry 4 marks

  • Negative marking– One mark is deducted for every wrong response

  • Unanswered question or not attempting a question does not attract any negative marking in GPAT 2020.

Please mention the querry properly, what information you are seeking. If you are asking for qualifying percentile,  than if you are general category than you have low chances to qualify for jee advanced or counselling since last year the cutoff was 89 percentile.  This year too it will be somewhat same. So, focus on jee mains of april session

Hello,

GPAT- graduate pharmacy aptitude test is conducted by nta to admission for M.pharm course in various college.

The educational eligibility according to nta is those candidate can apply who have bachelors degree in pharmacy or Those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course are also eligible for appearing in GPAT exam.

Unfortunately as you are not in final years of your pharmacy graduation you can not apply to this exam for this year.

I have cleared GPAT 2019 and it has the validity of THREE YEAR and I want to take NIPER JEE 2020 EXAM ANY HOW do I need to give GPAT 2020 test or GPAT 2019 will be VALID? and suppose that UNFORTUNATELY I am not able to clear GPAT 2020 THEN GPAT 2019 scorecard will be valid or not? plz do reply.....

see gpat score is valid for 3 years, if you will not able to clear gpat 2020 this time, based on your gpat 2019 score you may take admission in m.pharma courses. niprjee is conducts by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, and its mandatory to have either of the score card of gpat/gate/ net.

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is held by AICTE for admissions to the various M.Pharm courses in country which is a Postgraduate course in the field of Pharmacy. Once issued, the GPAT examination score card holds valid for a maximum of three years.
