GPAT Result 2020- The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the result of GPAT 2020 on February 3, 2020. The exam shall be conducted on January 24, 2020 and will be followed by GPAT 2020 result which will be released on official website of NTA. Candidates will be able to check their GPAT 2020 result in online mode through login which requires candidate’s application number and date of birth or password. GPAT result 2020 will reflect marks scored by candidate, rank obtained and equivalent percentage in the examination. How to check the GPAT Result 2020?
Candidates can follow the steps below to view GPAT result.
1. Visit official website of GPAT. (https://ntagpat.nic.in)
2. Click on the 'View GPAT 2020 Result'.
3. Enter your login credentials i.e, your application number and password/ date of birth.
4. Click on 'Sign in' and then on 'View result'.
5. Your NTA scorecard will be displayed. The score card looks like the image below
6. Download and print out at least 2-3 copies of the same for future reference.
NTA shall release the GPAT 2020 answer key in online mode a few days after the exam is conducted on January 24. Candidates will be required to raise objections, if any, within the time period stipulated in this regard. Candidates will get a better idea of their expected GPAT 2020 result and even get a chance to object for any answer which they think is provided wrong in the answer key and will affect their GPAT 2020 result. It may be noted that candidates will be able to raise objections only after paying the application fee for the same. They will have to pay a sum of Rs 1000 for each question against which objection is to be raised. This amount is subject to a refund only in case if the objection raised comes out to be valid and changes are made because of such objection in the final answer key.
How to challenge GPAT Answer Key 2020?
Candidates can check the steps listed below to know the downloading procedure of GPAT 2020 answer key and make challenges within the specified period. The answer key of GPAT 2020 will help candidates analyze their GPAT score.
NTA will provide the link for challenging the GPAT answer key on the official website.
Enter your GPAT application number and password/ date of birth.
Click on the 'Click to challenge answer key' button.
Select the answer options to be challenged and click on 'Save your claims'.
Upload the required documents for proof and click on 'Save your claims and pay the fee’.
GPAT 2020 Score is the marks obtained by a candidate in the entrance examination based on the final answer key. This score will decide if the candidate qualified GPAT 2020 and the participating institute offering admission for that score as well. Candidates will have to apply separately for appropriate participating institute and then counselling shall take place accordingly. It may be noted that candidates will not get the option to apply for rechecking or revaluation of marks. This GPAT 2020 result / score card will have a validity for 3 years benefitting those registering for Ph. D. and availing National Doctoral Scholarship.
How to calculate score with GPAT 2020 answer key?
After comparing answers with the help of GPAT 2020 answer key, candidates should know how to estimate a rough figure of their score. Follow the steps below to know how to calculate your probable GPAT score 2020:
Use the official marking scheme of GPAT 2020 to calculate the score. According to the GPAT 2020 marking scheme, candidates will be rewarded 4 marks for every correct answer while every incorrect response will deduct one mark.
GPAT 2020 score = (4 x Number of correct responses) - (1 x Number of incorrect responses)
NTA shall release the merit list of GPAT 2020 following result and this list will contain the status of qualifying the exam along with marks scored, percentage and the rank obtained by candidates in GPAT 2020. After release of candidate score in GPAT 2020 result, the participating institutes will declare their respective cutoff marks. These cutoff marks are the minimum that a candidate should have scored for getting admission in that particular institute. The candidates will then be required to apply separately for each participating institute according to the score obtained in GPAT 2020. The cutoff is usually based on multiple factors like availability of seats, difficulty level of exam and the total number of candidates who appear and pass in GPAT 2020 exam.
In GPAT 2019, a total of 4119 candidates qualified the exam. Category wise cutoff shared by NTA provided 141 marks for Unreserved category, 117 for OBC, 95 for SC and 74 for ST.

After declaration of GPAT result 2020 on February 3, the next step will include an all India merit list and cutoff released by NTA. Following this, participating institutes will conduct the counselling and candidates will be required to apply as per their score in GPAT result 2020. Candidates will then be shortlisted and allotted with seats during GPAT counselling 2020. During this process, they will be required to produce supportive documents for admission to the participating institutes.
