GPAT Counselling 2020 - The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test- GPAT 2020 counselling shall be conducted a few days after the declaration of GPAT result 2020. National Testing Agency is the conducting body for GPAT exam, but it may be noted that NTA doesn't conduct the GPAT counselling 2020. The participating institutes are the ones responsible for conducting counselling of GPAT 2020. After declaration of GPAT 2020 result, eligible candidates will have to apply separately at the participating institutes in the order of preference. Then these candidates will be called up for GPAT 2020 counselling by the respective participating institutes depending upon their GPAT 2020 score and eligibility. during GPAT counselling 2020, candidates will have to report with certain documents in support of their educational qualification. The candidates will then be allotted seats in M. Pharm courses and will have to proceed for admissions accordingly. There are around 800 participating institutes for GPAT 2020 including colleges and universities, which accept the GPAT score for admission to various M. Pharm courses. GPAT Result 2020

NTA has announced the important dates for GPAT 2020 and the same provides for declaration of GPAT 2020 result on February 7, 2020. The result will be available in online mode on the declaration day along with the final answer key. Candidates will need their application number and password or date of birth to access their GPAT 2020 result.


GPAT 2020 Merit List
NTA is expected to release the GPAT merit list along with declaration of result on February 7, 2020. The merit list shall contain category-wise number of candidates who qualify the exam along with the overall cutoff for that category. Admission to M. Pharm courses in the participating institutes is based on the score obtained in this examination. In 2019, a total of 41208 candidates have qualified GPAT exam, out of which 4119 candidates are eligible for scholarship.


GPAT Cutoff 2020

The GPAT 2020 cutoff will state the minimum score required for admission into the Masters of Pharmacy courses. Candidates who successfully appear for GPAT 2020 will be shortlisted on the basis of the cut off marks, defined by the participating institutes. Factors like availability of seats, the difficulty level of exam, number of candidates appeared/passed, etc., will be taken into account while determining the GPAT cutoff 2020.

Prerequisites for GPAT Counselling 2020

  • GPAT 2020 Counselling letter (original)

GPAT Counselling 2020

Candidates must note that the GPAT 2020 counselling process will be conducted by the participating institutes individually and not by NTA as a whole. Counselling dates of GPAT 2020 may differ for different ranks of students. Accordingly, candidates must report to the venue of GPAT counselling 2020 at the correct date and time with the required documents. The documents will be required for verification purposes.

Counselling of GPAT 2020 will be conducted in four stages:

  1. Document Verification

  • Check the rank wise GPAT 2020 counselling dates which will be released by the participating institutes.

  • Report to the particular venue/ institute with the mandatory documents.

  • Candidates will not be asked to submit their original documents as those will be checked only for verification purposes.

  1. Web Options Entry

  • Click on the ‘Web Options Entry’ portal on the official GPAT website.

  • A list of participating institutes will be displayed.

  • Candidates can fill in the options with the names of their preferred institutes. It is advisable to choose as many institutes as possible.

  • Preview carefully and if satisfied, ‘Save’ and ‘Lock’ the choices. Thereafter, candidates will not be able to alter their choices.

  • Candidates can take a print out for future reference.

  1. Seat Allotment

  • The allotment of seats will be based on the merit list and candidates’ scores.

  • The GPAT 2020 seat allotment order can be downloaded from the official website.

  1. Reporting to the Institute

  • Once the allotment process is complete, candidates must reach the allotted institute with the required documents.

  • The admission fee (as per the fee structure of each institute) must be paid to conclude the admission process.

hello im in second year of bpharmacy can i fulfill for give the gpat exam

Hello,

GPAT- graduate pharmacy aptitude test is conducted by nta to admission for M.pharm course in various college.

The educational eligibility according to nta is those candidate can apply who have bachelors degree in pharmacy or Those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course are also eligible for appearing in GPAT exam.

Unfortunately as you are not in final years of your pharmacy graduation you can not apply to this exam for this year.

I have cleared GPAT 2019 and it has the validity of THREE YEAR and I want to take NIPER JEE 2020 EXAM ANY HOW do I need to give GPAT 2020 test or GPAT 2019 will be VALID? and suppose that UNFORTUNATELY I am not able to clear GPAT 2020 THEN GPAT 2019 scorecard will be valid or not? plz do reply.....

see gpat score is valid for 3 years, if you will not able to clear gpat 2020 this time, based on your gpat 2019 score you may take admission in m.pharma courses. niprjee is conducts by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, and its mandatory to have either of the score card of gpat/gate/ net.

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is held by AICTE for admissions to the various M.Pharm courses in country which is a Postgraduate course in the field of Pharmacy. Once issued, the GPAT examination score card holds valid for a maximum of three years.

WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA TO APPEAR IN NIPER JEE 2020? i have CLEARED GPAT 2019 and also going to appear in GPAT 2020 but if unfortunately i wont be able to qualify...then can it be an issue for NIPER JEE 2020 EXAM REGISTRATION? PLEASE REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Eligibilty criteria to appear in NIPER JEE 2020 is mentioned below:

NIPER JEE 2020 Eligibility

For Master’s Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: For M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Pharm./M.Tech. (Pharm.), the qualifying degree should be B.Pharm. or M.Sc. (Biological Sciences) or M.Sc (Organic/Analytical Chemistry/Life Sciences/Botany) or B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent or B.V.Sc. or M.B.B.S. or BAMS.
  • Minimum Marks: The candidates have to score minimum 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
  • Relaxation: For SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks required in qualifying exam should be 55%. For Physically Handicapped candidates, the minimum marks are 50%.
  • Appearing candidates: Final year candidates can also apply.

For Ph.D Pharmacy Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: The prerequisite qualification is M.S.(Pharm.)/M.Pharm/M.Tech.(Pharm.) in relevant discipline.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates are required to pass the qualifying exam with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST and 50% marks for PH candidates)


GPAT score card will be valid for 3 years. So, If you have cleared the exam of GPAT 2019, it is still valid and you can appear in NIPER JEE 2020 based on that. But, now if you appear in GPAT 2020 then your latest score of GPAT i.e GPAT 2020 score will be considered amd in case you fail then you are not eligible.
