hi i am pg aspiant with gpat score 164/500 UR category .i have EWS certificate now butdid not attached in gpat. i am from kerala.do i get admission in bk modi college, rajkot for m pharm.

monag2673 31st Jul, 2024

Here's a breakdown of your M.Pharm admission chances at BK Modi College, Rajkot:

  • GPAT Score: A score of 164/500 might be on the lower side for securing admission in competitive M.Pharm programs, especially for the UR category. However, the exact cutoff for BK Modi College can vary depending on factors like:

    • Availability of seats
    • Difficulty level of the entrance exam (if applicable)
    • Number of applicants with higher scores (including EWS category)
  • EWS Certificate: Having an EWS certificate can be beneficial.  Since you didn't mention an entrance exam requirement for BK Modi, EWS reservation could increase your chances of admission if seats are available in that category.

Here's what you can do:

  1. Check BK Modi College's Admission Process:

    • Visit their official website or contact the admissions office to inquire about the specific admission process for M.Pharm programs.
    • Find out if there's a separate entrance exam or if GPAT scores are considered solely.
    • Ask about the cut-off marks for UR and EWS categories  (past year's data might be helpful).
  2. Consider Other Colleges: Research other colleges in Kerala or nearby states that accept GPAT scores for M.Pharm admissions. Explore their cut-offs and admission criteria to broaden your options.

Remember:

  • While a lower GPAT score might make securing admission in BK Modi challenging, the EWS certificate can be an advantage. Don't lose hope, explore all possibilities.

hope this helps you!!

I got 400 rank in AP PGECET in 2024.Am I eligible for getting a seat in SV for Mpharmacy And also I got 83% in Gpat is this help full . I am very curious to know about this?? Hope u will help me with thiss..

Prachi Kumari 29th Jul, 2024

Hey,

Congratulations on your rank and GPAT score!

With a rank of 400 in AP PGECET and a GPAT score of 83%, you have a good chance of securing a seat in an M.Pharmacy program, especially at institutions like SV University (Sri Venkateswara University).

Here’s how your chances look:

  1. AP PGECET Rank : A rank of 400 is generally considered competitive. SV University typically admits students based on their ranks in AP PGECET, so you should check their specific cut-off ranks from previous years to get a better idea.

  2. GPAT Score : An 83% in GPAT is quite strong and can enhance your chances significantly. Some universities and colleges consider GPAT scores for admission or as a part of the selection criteria, and having a good GPAT score can make you a preferred candidate.

Action Steps :

  • Check SV University’s Admission Criteria : Look at their specific requirements for the M.Pharmacy program. They may have a combination of AP PGECET rank and GPAT score requirements.
  • Contact the University : Reach out to SV University’s admissions office for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding cut-offs and eligibility.
  • Consider Other Options : While SV University is a good choice, also consider other institutions where your rank and GPAT score might be competitive.

Good luck with your admissions process!

i have give gpat exam in 2023 and also give exam in 2024 is my 2023 gpat scorecard eligible for m pharm admision?

monag2673 31st Jul, 2024

Yes, your 2023 GPAT scorecard is eligible for M.Pharm admissions in 2024.

The GPAT score is valid for three years. This means you can use your 2023 score to apply to M.Pharm programs in 2024, 2025, and 2026. However, it's important to note that the cut-offs for admission might change each year, so a good score in 2023 might not guarantee admission in 2024.

If you believe your score in 2024 will be significantly better, you can use that score instead. Ultimately, the decision of which score to use depends on your confidence in improving your performance and the specific admission criteria of the colleges you're targeting.

hope this helps you!!

Hello Harsh,

Based on the information available, with a GPAT rank of 3310, you have a chance of getting admission to the M.Pharm program at SGSITS (Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science), Indore. The cutoff ranks can vary each year based on the number of applicants and their scores, but typically, GPAT scores around your rank have been considered for admissions in the past.

how can choose best colleges from gpat affliated

Radhika Goyal 18th Aug, 2024

Hy,

Choosing the best colleges affiliated with the GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) involves evaluating several factors to ensure that the institution meets your academic and career goals. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you select the best pharmacy colleges affiliated with GPAT:

1. Understand GPAT Affiliation:

  • GPAT Affiliation: GPAT is a national level entrance exam for admission to M.Pharm programs in various pharmacy colleges across India. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Many colleges accept GPAT scores for admission to their Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) programs.

2. Identify Top GPAT-Accepting Colleges:

  • Check GPAT-Participating Colleges: Visit the official GPAT website or the NTA website to find a list of colleges that accept GPAT scores. This list includes numerous institutions across the country.

3. Evaluate College Factors:

3.1. Academic Reputation:

  • Rankings and Reviews: Look at national and regional rankings for pharmacy colleges. Institutions with high rankings and positive reviews often provide better educational quality.
  • Accreditation: Ensure the college is accredited by relevant bodies like the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) or the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

3.2. Faculty and Research Opportunities:

  • Qualified Faculty: Check the qualifications and research background of the faculty members. Experienced and well-qualified faculty can significantly enhance your learning experience.
  • Research Facilities: Consider colleges that offer good research facilities and opportunities for students to engage in research projects.

3.3. Infrastructure and Facilities:

  • Laboratories and Equipment: Look for colleges with modern laboratories and up-to-date equipment, which are essential for practical learning in pharmacy.
  • Library and Resources: A well-equipped library with access to relevant journals and books is crucial for your academic development.

3.4. Placement Records:

  • Placement Statistics: Investigate the placement records of the college. Colleges with strong placement records and connections with pharmaceutical companies offer better job prospects.
  • Industry Connections: Colleges with strong ties to the industry often provide better internship and job opportunities.

3.5. Location and Campus Life:

  • Location: Consider the location of the college in terms of accessibility, living conditions, and proximity to pharmaceutical hubs.
  • Campus Life: Evaluate the overall campus environment, including extracurricular activities, student support services, and overall student satisfaction.

4. Research and Visit Colleges:

  • Visit Campuses: If possible, visit the campuses of the shortlisted colleges to get a firsthand experience of the facilities, infrastructure, and environment.
  • Talk to Current Students/Alumni: Engage with current students or alumni to gain insights into the college experience, faculty quality, and overall satisfaction.

5. Check Admission Criteria:

  • Eligibility: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for admission, which usually includes a valid GPAT score.
  • Application Process: Follow the application procedures for each college and meet the deadlines.

6. Compare and Decide:

  • Make a List: Create a list of top colleges based on the factors above.
  • Compare: Compare these colleges based on academics, facilities, placements, and other factors important to you.
  • Make an Informed Decision: Choose the college that best aligns with your career goals, preferences, and needs.

IIT BHU has four different for M. Pharmacy which are Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy so they declared cutoff ranks according to your marks for each category  every year cutoff changes due to various factors. They called 7 times more number students for counseling than the total seat available there.some application also get rejected because of not having gpat score and lack of eligibility so they create chance for other candidates.

So,If You want to be on Safe side you should achieve atleast below 500 rank in GPAT.
