The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Guwahati conducts the NIPER JEE exam for admission to 1158 Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and 249 PhD programs. The NIPER JEE 2026 will be conducted in the computer-based mode.

NIPER JEE eligibility criteria are the bare minimum qualification that a candidate must meet to be eligible to appear in the entrance exam for the master's programmes. The eligibility guidelines set by the authorities for NIPER JEE are as follows:
GPAT score: Aspirants must have a valid Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2026 (GPAT) score.

Academic eligibility: Aspirants must possess a qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA.
Relaxation for reserved category: For SC/ST category candidates minimum passing marks required to apply for NIPER JEE 2026 are 55% or 6.25 CGPA. While for physically challenged category candidates minimum required marks are 50% or 5.75 CGPA.
