About NIPER JEE 2026

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Guwahati conducts the NIPER JEE exam for admission to 1158 Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and 249 PhD programs. The NIPER JEE 2026 will be conducted in the computer-based mode.  

The official brochure of the NIPER JEE 2026 will be released along with the application form on the website. The information bulletin of NIPER JEE 2026 will include the exam schedule, exam dates, registration process, fee, counselling details and more. Eligible candidates will have to register and fill the NIPER JEE 2026 application form before the last date. The authority will also conduct the NIPER JEE 2026 mock test on the specified dates. 

Registered aspirants will be issued NIPER JEE 2026 admit card based on the details and choice of exam city filled in the application form. The list of participating Institutes of NIPER JEE 2026 includes NIPER S.A.S Nagar (Mohali), NIPER Raebareli, NIPER Kolkata, and NIPER Ahmedabad. Candidates have to choose from various exam centres across India; once opted, there is no scope for changing the same.

Candidates will have to carry a hard copy of the NIPER JEE 2026 hall ticket to the examination centre. Those without the admit cards will not be permitted inside the NIPER JEE 2026 exam centre. As per the NIPER JEE exam pattern 2026 for Master's exam, students will be given two hours to solve 200 multiple-choice questions.

The NIPER JEE 2026 result for M.Pharm and PhD courses will be announced on at the official website. The result of NIPER JEE 2026 will be declared in the form of a merit list, while the NIPER JEE rank card 2026 for the M.Pharm course will be made available in online mode. NIPER JEE eligibility criteria are the bare minimum qualification that a candidate must meet to be eligible to appear in the entrance exam for the master's programmes. The eligibility guidelines set by the authorities for NIPER JEE are as follows:

  • GPAT score: Aspirants must have a valid Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2026 (GPAT) score.

  • Qualifying degree: Candidates must possess a B.Pharm degree from a recognised university. Please note that candidates in the final year of B.Pharm are also eligible for NIPER JEE 2026.

  • Academic eligibility: Aspirants must possess a qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA.

  • Relaxation for reserved category: For SC/ST category candidates minimum passing marks required to apply for NIPER JEE 2026 are 55% or 6.25 CGPA. While for physically challenged category candidates minimum required marks are 50% or 5.75 CGPA.

Qualified NIPER JEE 2026 candidates seeking admission in M.S (Pharm), M.Pharm and M.Tech (Pharm) programmes will be able to participate in the NIPER JEE counselling.  All the candidates seeking admission in the M.B.A. (Pharm.) programme in NIPER, Hyderabad, and S.A.S Nagar have to participate in the group discussion and interview. They must also carry all the necessary documents with them at the time of group discussion and interview. Such candidates have to pay the requisite fee if their name figures in the final merit list. The final merit list of such candidates will be determined on the basis of the combined merit that they get in the entrance examination, group discussion and interview.

Yes, a B.Pharm student who is in the final year and yet to appear for the final semester exams can apply for NIPER JEE . But the student must make sure that the final result is available at the time of admission .

So yes, you can apply, but you will need to submit the proof of passing B.Pharm before admission.
