Souparnika, ideally D.Pharma is a Doctoral course in Pharmacy with a duration of 6 years, 5 years of course and 1 year mandatory internship. Now GPAT is an entrance exam for admission to M.Pharmacy which is a Post Graduation course. It will be a step down your academic track if you want to study M.Pharmac after D.Pharma. It is like going back to your 12th after studying B.Sc. So it is not helpful for you if you want to appear for M.Pharma after Pharma. D
Utkarsha you need not worry if you could not fill for GPAT as there are many other exams too through which you can apply for a B.Pharma course and they are still accepting applications/ would start accepting applications in a few days.

see gpat exam is the gateway entrance test for admission in m.pharma course, once you clear the exam and enrolled for it , you can get the scholarship and to get scholarship you candidature, college id is also needed, and scholarship scheme will started from at the beginning of first year. if you are in second year and have qualified gpat, you are not eligible to get scholarship in that particular institute. but if you take admission in any other colleges in first year m.pharma course,,based on current year score you may get scholarship.
see gpat is the entrance test for admission in master of pharmaceutical courses. cosmetics science dont fall in m.pharma course. you may do post graduate or msc in cosmetics science after bachelors degree in relevant discipline. there is two years m.sc in cosmetic science course offers by sandip university, maharastra, students who have completed their undergraduate in pharmacy, cosmetology, medicine and related fields can opt for this course.

There are many coachings & Institutes for GPAT Preparation but you can prefer RAHE, GPAT Coaching. Before joining an Institute, I would suggest you to do research on the coaching result, teaching Method etc.

I would like to inform you that for Pharmacy degree from a PCI and AICTE approved Institute. Candidates must have minimum 55% marks in average (50% for SC/ST) in graduation. Candidates should preferably be GPAT 2016 qualified. Non-GPAT candidates may also apply. I hope this information will help you. And keep studying keep growing.

I would like to inform you that If you are really enjoying the core subjects like Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology during your 3rd and 4th year of B.Pharma, then you could consider a career in research and development. You can get R&D roles within pharmaceutical, biotech, agro and FMCG sectors. And GPAT qualified candidates do get preferences. It has been clearly stated in the guidelines of filling GPAT application form that multiple applications by one candidate is bound to be rejected and also that no corrections are allowed in the information furnished by the candidate once application form is submitted.
