Shivani Chaudhary 27th May, 2020

Hello Shukanya!

I am sorry to say but you can't get government college. To get government college, you must qualify GPAT.

Eligibility criteria for GPAT:-

Candidates must hold a 4 year course in Pharmacy after 10+2 from a recognized university

Final year students of B.Pharm are also eligible to apply, provided that their result should be declared before admission to the 2021-2022 session begins.

Those who have a degree in B.Tech (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology) are not to be considered eligible.

You can't get government college but you can get private college so try to take admissions in any private college.

I am pharmacy student , for preparation of GPAT 2021 How you can help me?

S. Saha Student Expert 22nd May, 2020

Instead of choosing a random topic from the syllabus, you must break your preparation into sections. Sub-topics from each section should be selected and then strategy on clearing concepts must be made. Making short notes and flashcards will prove helpful in the last few days before the exam. Never leave any concepts doubtful or unsolved. Once done with the syllabus and concept clarity, you should move towards solving previous years papers. Give mock tests as much as possible. Time management is one more important thing you should look upon. Some important topics you must revise- Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharm Analysis, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical chemistry (especially Organic chemistry). Topics like NMR spectroscopy, Mass spectrometry, IR and UV have been frequently covered in the previous years’ question papers. You must put greater emphasis on these while preparing for GPAT.

Some best books for GPAT Preparation-

  • The Pearson Guide to GPAT and Other Entrance Examination in Pharmacy
  • GPAT: A Companion by Nazma Inamdar

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 17th May, 2020

hi,

see it depends on the organization, if they allow gpat score you may apply for research fellow post, however csir junipr research fellow  position is filled through score in csir net exam.

however some times university like jadavpur, cal cutta university, iit kharagpur offers research assistant post based on net/gpat/ gate score.
