Chandigarh University UP Launches AI-Enabled B.Pharm Programme with PCI Approval

Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh (CU-UP) has officially received approval from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to launch its School of Pharmacy and begin admissions for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) course. The first batch of 60 seats in the new four-year undergraduate programme will offer pharmaceutical education that is prepared for the future, utilising state-of-the-art technology.

The newly launched BPharma programme aims to integrate academic learning with real-world application for students. AI-enabled labs and simulation tools were implemented by Chandigarh University UP, contextualising learning in key areas such as:

  • Toxicology

In addition to facilitating deeper experimentation and increasing lab accuracy, these smart tools are anticipated to equip students for tech-driven careers in the healthcare industry.

With the pharma job market becoming increasingly competitive, the BPharma programme at CU-UP places strong emphasis on career readiness. In addition to core pharmaceutical subjects, the B.Pharma curriculum introduces students to:
