KIET School of Pharmacy Organises ‘Dikshaarambh–2026’ to Welcome the New Batch

KIET School of Pharmacy, KIET Deemed to be University, Ghaziabad, organised ‘Dikshaarambh–2026’, a Welcome and Orientation Ceremony for newly admitted students, to formally welcome the new students and introduce them to the academic ethos, institutional values and vibrant learning environment of the University.

The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial welcome of the distinguished guests and dignitaries, followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom and an auspicious beginning.

Dr. Daksh Bhatia, Principal, KIET School of Pharmacy, delivered the welcome address and extended a warm welcome to the newly admitted students and distinguished guests. A video presentation showcasing the KIET Deemed to be University campus and its facilities was subsequently presented, offering the students a glimpse into the academic and infrastructural strengths of the institution.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao, Vice Chancellor, KIET Deemed to be University and Dr. Manoj Goel, Pro-Vice Chancellor-KIET deemed to be University. The Vice Chancellor encouraged newly admitted students to approach their academic journey with dedication and discipline while making active use of the diverse learning and developmental opportunities offered by the University.

Dr. Atul Kothari, National Secretary, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN) was invited to the event as Chief Guest. In his inspirational address, he shared his valuable perspective on education, values and holistic development and encouraged the students to strive for excellence while contributing positively to society and the nation.

The ceremony served as an important platform for acquainting the newly admitted students with the academic environment and institutional culture of KIET School of Pharmacy. It also fostered a sense of belonging and encouraged the students to begin their academic journey with confidence, enthusiasm and a strong sense of purpose.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem. The event reflected the spirit of its theme, “A New Beginning • A New Direction • A New Flight,” and marked the beginning of a promising academic journey for the newly admitted students at KIET School of Pharmacy.
