The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) entrance exam for admission into the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm). The NBE has released the GPAT 2024 exam date on the official website. The GPAT 2024 exam date is June 8, 2024. NBE will release the GPAT 2024 application form along with the information brochure. GPAT 2024 Admit card
The GPAT 2024 admit card mentions details related to the exam, test centre, hall ticket number, name of the candidate, etc. It is mandatory to carry the GPAT admit card 2024 to the examination hall. Only those who do so will be allowed to appear for the GPAT.
Steps to download the GPAT admit card:
Visit to nbe.edu.in website
Click on 'Download GPAT 2024 admit card'
Enter the login credentials (application number and password/ date of birth) and click on submit
The GPAT admit card appears on the screen for download.
What to do if unable to download the GPAT 2024 admit card?
Candidates who are unable to download their admit cards must send an email to the official email ID provided by NBE for the cause citing their name, application number, and other details.

One passport-size photograph same as uploaded for the online application form.
Any photo IDs like PAN card/driving License/ voter ID/ passport/ aadhaar card (With photograph)/ ration card.
PwD certificate issued by the competent authority if applicable

The NBE will conduct the GPAT exam in computer-based mode. The questions in GPAT 2024 will be asked from multiple subjects including Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and other subjects. The exam pattern for GPAT 2024 is given in the table below.

GPAT 2024 Answer Key
The NBE releases the answer key of GPAT 2024 at nbe.edu.in Candidates can challenge the GPAT answer key 2024 within the stipulated dates.
The provisional answer key PDF will have correct solutions to the questions asked in the GPAT exam. Candidates who will appear in the GPAT exam can calculate their expected score using the GPAT answer key 2024.
After the challenging process is over, the authority will release the final NBE GPAT answer key. It must be noted that the final NBE GPAT 2024 answer key cannot be challenged.
GPAT 2024 Result
The NBE will declare the GPAT 2024 result in online mode. The Candidates can download the NBE GPAT result 2024 at the official website i.e. nbe.edu.in. The result will be declared in the form of a scorecard and will contain the candidate's details, score obtained (out of 500), percentile, cutoff, and other details.
To download the GPAT 2024 result, candidates will have to enter the application number, date of birth, and security pin. To qualify for the GPAT M.Pharm entrance exam, GPAT cutoff marks must be obtained. The GPAT previous year cut-off for the General category is 148 marks.
GPAT 2024 Cutoff
NBE releases the GPAT 2024 cutoff marks along with the result on nbe.edu.in. The GPAT cutoff 2024 will vary as per the categories. It will be determined by various factors like the total number of candidates appearing for the exam, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability. Candidates aspiring to postgraduate pharmacy courses will have to secure GPAT passing marks above or equal to the GPAT cutoff 2024.

GPAT 2024 Counselling
The GPAT counseling is conducted by the participating institutes individually. Aspirants will be able to participate in the GPAT 2024 counseling based on the scores obtained in the pharmacy entrance examination and their eligibility.

Ideally, GPAT preparation should start around 8–10 months before the exam to give yourself enough time to cover the syllabus and revise properly. Since GPAT is a competitive exam, consistency is the key. You can start with 2–3 hours of study daily in the initial months and then increase it to 6–8 hours as the exam approaches. Break your schedule into three phases: Phase 1 (first 4 months) – cover the entire syllabus subject by subject, focusing on concepts and notes; Phase 2 (next 3 months) – revise topics and start solving previous year papers; Phase 3 (final 2 months) – focus on mock tests, time management, and weaker areas. Always reserve the last few weeks for pure revision and formula memorization. Remember, regular revision and practice are more important than long study hours without focus.

Key subjects include Pharmacology Pharmaceutics Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy. Once you get clarity on what to cover make a realistic study schedule that allocates time to each topic. Begin reading from strong and reliable textbooks and consolidate your learning by creating revision notes. Use past year question papers and regular mock tests to track progress and improve speed and accuracy. After each test review your errors and adjust the study plan accordingly. Focus more on frequently asked or high weightage topics while revising. Good planning discipline and consistent mock practice can go a long way in helping you perform well in GPAT.
