Grand Celebration of World Pharmacist Day 2025 at KIET School of Pharmacy

Ghaziabad, 25 September 2025: KIET School of Pharmacy (KSOP) celebrated World Pharmacist Day 2025 with great zeal and academic fervour, echoing this year’s global theme – “Think Health, Think Pharmacist.” The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and around 120 students, making it a memorable day of knowledge sharing, recognition, and celebration of the pharmacy profession.

The day featured three intellectually stimulating technical events – Oral Presentation Competition, Debate Competition, and Pharma Quiz Competition, where winners were awarded First, Second, and Third prizes for their outstanding performances.

Adding to the spirit of appreciation and encouragement, KSOP conferred special honours to recognize excellence in the field:

• Best Student Pharmacist of the Year 2025

• Prominent Pharmacist of the Year 2025

• Emerging Pharmacist of the Year 2025

The celebration was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Dr. Manoj Goel, Hon’ble Executive Director – KIET; Dr. Adesh Pandey, Director Academics; and Dr. K. Nagarajan, Principal, KSOP.

The occasion also had the privilege of hosting distinguished Guests of Honour – Dr. Meenakshi Dahiya, Senior Scientist, IPC Ghaziabad, and Dr. Shishir Srivastava, MBBS, Vaccine Buddy. Their presence and valuable insights enriched the significance of the event.

The program was meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of Dr. Praveen Kumar Dixit, Associate Professor and Assistant Head – Skill Development Cell, KSOP. The celebration successfully highlighted the crucial role of pharmacists in healthcare, while motivating students to uphold the values of this noble profession.
