Every year, the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, commonly known as GPAT, is held across the country in a computer-based test (CBT) mode for the purpose of granting admission to the MPharma course. GPAT question paper contains 125 multiple choice questions which are to be answered within three hours. Candidates qualified for GPAT will have the chance to apply to more than 782 participating institutions offering 39,670 M.Pharm seats.
NIPER JEE is an entrance examination conducted by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research for admission to Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and Ph.D. programmes in pharmacy. The NIPER JEE is a computer-based exam conducted in English with a duration of two hours.
There are 200 multiple-choice questions with negative marking in the NIPER JEE question paper. The NIPER JEE exam is designed for admission to 820 seats in Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Masters of Science (MS Pharm), Masters of Technology (M.Tech Pharm), and PhD courses offered at NIPER institutes in Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Hajipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Raebareli, and SAS Nagar.
The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, commonly referred to as NMIMS,is responsible for granting admission to the NMIMS NPAT for B.Pharm + MBA (Pharma. Tech). NPAT scores are used for admission into NPAT institutes located in Mumbai, Shipur, and Hyderabad for B.Pharm + MBA (Pharm. Tech) graduates. NPAT is a computer-based exam administered by the NIMMS.NMIMS NPAT consists of 120 multiple choice questions (MCQs), which must be answered in 100 minutes.
Admissions to the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Pharmacy, commonly referred to as RUHS Pharmacy, are conducted for its Bachelor of Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy programs. The RUHS Pharmacy admission test is conducted in the computer-based mode for students applying to B.Pharm and D.Pharm programs across participating institutions affiliated with the university. The RUHS Pharmacy entrance examination is conducted in English. The examination is composed of two sections, Chemistry and Physics, each consisting of 50 questions.
The Chhattisgarh Pre-Pharmacy Test (CG PPHT) is a test for admission to various pharmacy colleges located in the state of Chhattisgarh offering Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharma) & Doctor of Pharmacy (D.Pharma). The offline exam consists of objective type questions, with 150 total questions divided into 3 sections, and is designed to be completed in three hours.
A state entrance examination Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination for Pharmacy (UKSEE) is conducted every year in Uttarakhand to provide admission to undergraduate (B.Pharm) and postgraduate (M.Pharm) Pharmacy programs in colleges affiliated with UKTU. The UKSEE pharmacy question paper consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQ). English and Hindi are the languages of the question paper.Admissions will be based solely on the merit rank obtained by candidates in the UKSEE examination.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) administers the Manipal Entrance Test for Pharmacy (MET Pharmacy) to grant pharmacy admission to institutes affiliated with the academy. The MET Pharmacy exam is conducted annually on a computer-based platform and aspirants are eligible to attempt the exam twice. There are 200 MCQs in the MET Pharmacy entrance exam with 150 minutes time duration. Candidates are eligible to register for a maximum of 2 attempts depending on the test centre/slot, and the best of the scores will be considered for the MET Pharmacy ranking.
A common entrance test conducted for admission to pharmacy programs in Telangana is the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test, commonly known as TS EAMCET. A computer-based entrance exam will be conducted for TS EAMCET for pharmacy. TS EAMCET pharmacy questions will be bilingual, in English and Telugu or in English and Urdu. In total, there are 160 questions in the TS EAMCET B.Pharm entrance exam. These questions include 80 from Biology (Botany - 40, Zoology - 40), 40 from Physics and 40 from Chemistry. The test duration of TS EAMCET is three hours.
AP EAMCET, also called Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test, is an entrance exam conducted for pharmacy school admission to B.Pharm and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) programs. The AP EAMCET Pharmacy exam is a computer-based test of three hours with 160 questions grouped into three sections: Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The AP EAMCET pharmacy question paper will be available in both English and Telugu.
For granting admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Pharmacy, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Pharmacy (OJEE pharmacy), commonly referred to as OJEE pharmacy, is conducted. The OJEE Pharmacy entrance exam will grant admission to 1339 B.Pharm seats across 17 pharmacy colleges. It will be an offline exam. The OJEE Pharmacy test consists of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) over the course of two hours.
Admission to the pharmacy is mainly granted on the basis of the centralized pharmacy admission process of the respective states.
