Careers360: Tell us about your domain and your work profile. At the professional level, did you pursue the same field you were interested in, or did you switch?

Mrs Pratiksha Sharma: With a strong passion for clinical research, I currently serve as a Project Manager at Novo Nordisk India Pvt. Ltd., overseeing the execution and management of Phase II and Phase III clinical trials across India. My role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure trials are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. Careers360: Can you briefly tell us about your career path so far?

Mrs Pratiksha Sharma: Driven by a deep passion for clinical operations, I began my career as a Centralised Monitoring Associate at IQVIA, joining three months before graduation. Eager to gain hands-on experience, I transitioned into onsite monitoring, a role I pursued for over six years across diverse settings—including a healthcare startup, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), and eventually Novo Nordisk.

This exposure provided me with a well-rounded perspective on clinical site management, regulatory adherence, and patient safety. Today, I serve as a Project Manager at Novo Nordisk India Pvt. Ltd., where I lead Phase II and III clinical trials across India. My journey reflects a continued commitment to advancing clinical research with integrity, efficiency, and patient-centricity.
