Under the pharmacy category, National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) evaluated 435 colleges within the pharmacy category in their latest report. The list included colleges that offer a four-year undergraduate (UG) programme, a two-year postgraduate (PG)programme, or both in pharmacy.
In this analysis however, Careers360 has considered top 10 colleges with a four-year UG programme in pharmacy. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research located in Hyderabad, Mohali, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and Raebareli have been left out as these institutes only provide a two-year PG programme in pharmacy.

This article will investigate the said parameters over the last four years. We have also analysed the percentage of enrolled students from the same state, different states or from different countries studying in the pharmaceutical institutes.
The result of our analysis shows that students are focusing on acquiring higher education after their graduation rather than taking employment. The participation of female students in the programme is highly commendable.
