Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT)

Conducting Body- Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani

Frequency- Once a year

Application fees- Rs. 3150 for male candidates; Rs. 2650 for female candidates

Mode of exam- Online

BITSAT will be conducted online from May 16-26, 2019 for all the students who wish to apply for BITSAT B. Pharma. Those who wish to appear for BITSAT must fill the online application form and submit it by March 20, 2019. Only those candidates who fulfill the BITSAT B. Pharma eligibility criteria can apply for BITSAT 2019. The BITSAT eligibility criteria 2019 requires the candidate to have passed 10+2 with PCM and the minimum marks scored should be 75% in Physics and 60% in all other subjects. The BITSAT 2019 question paper will be divided into 4 parts- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English language and Logical reasoning. B. Pharma aspirants will be required to answer 150 MCQs during the 3-hour time limit. The BITSAT B. Pharma results will be available online in the form of scores, according to which the merit list will be declared.

Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM)

Conducting body: Commissioner for Entrance Examinations

Frequency: Once a year

Application fee: Rs. 700 for unreserved categories, Rs. 300 for reserved categories

Mode of exam: Offline

KEAM 2019 will be held on April 22 (Paper 1- Physics and Chemistry) and 23 (Paper 2- Mathematics) on pen and paper mode. B. Pharma aspirants need to qualify Paper 1 only. The online KEAM application form must be submitted before the fourth week of February 2019 tentatively. Only those candidates who score at least 50% marks in Biology/ Mathematics and Biology/ Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry altogether will be considered eligible to apply for KEAM 2019. B. Pharma applicants will be required to answer 120 MCQs within the time limit of 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates will be rewarded 4 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response. The KEAM 2019 result is expected to release on online mode in the fourth week of May. Thereafter, the KEAM rank list will also be published by the authorities.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE)

Conducting body: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board

Frequency: Once a year

Application fee: Rs. 500

Mode of exam: Offline

B. Pharma aspirants wishing to take admission in institutes situated in West Bengal can apply for this state level entrance exam before the closing date i.e., January 22, 2019. Only Indian students who have passed Class XII (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as mandatory subjects) with 45% minimum. WBJEE is a pen and paper based exam which will include two papers i.e., Paper 1- Mathematics and Paper 2- Physics and Chemistry. B. Pharma candidates may appear for either both or only Paper 2. The number of questions and the marking scheme for each subject varies. However, all the questions will objective in nature and the total time limit is of 4 hours. WBJEEB will release the WBJEE result 2019 in the form of a rank card which will contain the rank, total score and component scores secured by each candidate.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET)

Conducting body: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE)- Maharashtra

Frequency: Once a year

Application fee: Rs. 800 for unreserved category, Rs. 600 for reserved categories

Mode of exam: Online

MHT CET is a state level entrance test conducted for admission to various programmes like B. Tech, B. Pharma, etc. The online MHT CET application form 2019 will close on March 31. However, late applications will be accepted with an additional fee of Rs. 500. The eligibility criteria of MHT CET varies for applicants of different states. The basic eligibility requirements state that the B. Pharma aspirant must have scored at least 50% in class XII with PCM. While filling the MHT CET 2019 application form, candidates will be required to upload the mandatory soft copies of their photograph and signature (according to the specifications). Like most of the entrance exams, mentioned above, MHT CET also comprises of different sections. The three papers included in MHT CET 2019 are- Paper 1 for Mathematics, paper 2 for Physics and Chemistry and Paper 3 for Biology. Each paper carries 100 marks and will last for a duration of 90 minutes. The MHT CET result is expected to be declared by the authorites in the first week of June 2019 on online mode. The result of MHT CET 2019 will be available in the form of a score card.

Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET)

Conducting body: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad

Frequency: Once a year

Application fee: Rs. 800 for unreserved category, Rs. 400 for reserved categories

Mode of exam: Online

TS EAMCET will be conducted on computer-based mode in the first week of May 2019 for B. Pharma aspirants. Candidates must have passed class XII (PCB/ PCM) with at least 45% overall to be considered eligible for applying for TS EAMCET 2019. The online application form of TS EAMCET 2019 will be open from the first week of March till the first week of April tentatively. Late applications will be accepted with Rs. 500 extra till the second week of April. An application correction window will also be available shortly after. The TS EAMCET question paper will consist of 160 MCQs which need to be answered within the time limit of 3 hours. TS EAMCET 2019 will be conducted in English, Telugu and Urdu. By the end of May 2019, the authorities are expected to announce the results of TS EAMCET according to which, the cutoff lists will be formulated.
