NIRF Pharmacy Colleges Ranking 2020 in Punjab- In order to assess the performance of various pharmacy institutes in India, the Ministry of Human Resources and Development has released the NIRF ranking 2020. From Punjab, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali has ranked among the top three.
Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal releases the NIRF 2020 ranking on June 11 via live conferencing with other prominent personalities. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the NIRF ranking of top pharmacy colleges in Punjab along with the other state is also delayed and has to be released in E-mode.
A total of 334 pharmacy colleges have participated in NIRF ranking 2020, out of which six colleges of Punjab managed to rank among the top 60 pharmacy colleges in India. The NIRF 2020 ranking for all pharmacy institutes has been allotted on various parameters like perception, outreach, inclusivity, graduation outcomes, and other ranking methodology. Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is conducted for granting M. Pharma or its equivalent courses admission, across the nation. National Testing Agency (NTA) is the authority competent to conduct the exam of GPAT for all the registered aspirants. D courses in NIPER institutes located in Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Hajipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Raebareli, and SAS Nagar will be granted.
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is conducted for granting admission to the NMIMS NPAT for B.Pharm + MBA (Pharma. Tech). Admission into NPAT institutes offered or located in Mumbai, Shipur and Hyderabad will be granted on the basis of the NMIMS NPAT entrance test. Authorities will conduct the NMIMS NPAT exam in a computer-based mode for all registered aspirants.
The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Pharmacy (RUHS Pharmacy) is conducted for granting admissions to B. Pharm and D. Pharm courses. Authorities will conduct the RUHS pharmacy entrance exam in a computer-based mode. On the basis of the RUHS entrance exam, admission to B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses will be granted, offered across participating institutes that are affiliated to the university.
